Alex O'Loughlin interviewed on the set of his Aussie film Oyster Farmer

This video is an interview that Alex O'Loughlin did on the set of his 2004 Australian film, Oyster Farmer. He talks about his role of Jack Flange (billed under his real name, Alex O'Lachlan), Aussie men, love and so on. Oyster Farmer was Alex's first movie.... and is a fave of mine. Too adorable!

Here's a question I haven't seen answered (or asked) anywhere else... what made Alex change the spelling of his name? I noticed it the first time I saw the credits for Oyster Farmer.

Hiya Grace ~

Alex says he changed his professional name from O'Lachlan to O'Loughlin because he thought it would be easier for people to know how to pronounce it correctly.
